Your Role and Responsibilities

Kyndryl Advisory and Implementation Service Line provides advise, move, and build services by working in partnership with customers and are dedicated to ensuring that each achieves its peak digital performance.

Your Role:
An Associate Partner in Kyndryl's Advisory and Implementation Service line leads teams that provide consultative skills and technology expertise to drive sales and deliver customer service requirements. Associate Partners are responsible for end-to-end opportunity ownership and working with other Kyndryl resources to support deal closures and delivery in complex, cross-practice deals.

This position is for experts with direct experience in Resilience Consulting Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders; experience originating deals with C-level clients; lead pursuit teams; participate and lead the proposal development process; contribute to proposal shaping and pricing strategies.
  • Sales Management: Manage to a Quota-Based sales plan through opportunity identification, pipeline management, solution development and presentation, contracting, negotiation, and delivery of services leading to future opportunities.
  • Delivery & Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
  • Practitioner Development: Perform the role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
  • Use Case Prioritization, ROI, and Business Case
  • Service Offering Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry points of view for our service offerings.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Next Generation Data Center Design, Build, and Manage

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $153,000 to $235,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
  • 5+ years selling large IT consulting engagements.
  • 5+ years performing Data Center Design consulting services such as Data Center assessments, strategy development, gap analysis, and high-level architecture design.
  • $15M+/year signings responsibility combined with revenue responsibility through delivering Data Center Design consulting services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in proposal development, contracting, negotiation, and project completion reviews
  • Thought capital level expertise in Data Center design related issues, impacts, trends, and emerging practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of Data Center solutions and approaches, including power management, cooling, space management, modular design, and CoLo integration.
  • Proven track record in developing strong client relationships with a focus on the executive levels.
  • Strong communication skills including extensive experience communicating with executive levels.
  • Demonstrated business acumen including negotiation skills and contract/profit management.
  • Track record of sub-contractor services negotiation and management
  • Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated executive engagement and proven ability to present strategic information to, and drive change across a broad range of business departments.
  • Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
  • Service Management, Operational Readiness, Operating Model Assessment, Design, Governance, IT Svc. Mgt. Process and Tools
  • Familiar with systems integration/system & process management
  • Knowledge of industry-leading and accepted, as well as IBM software and hardware solutions.
  • Experience in Multi-Cloud platforms.
  • Industry Certifications and Experience preferred
