DMC seeks experienced Medical Assistants, Licensed Nursing Assistants, or LPN's for immediate full-time and part-time employment helping reduce community exposure to COVID-19 by performing COVID-19 testing. Our testing and vaccine site is a drive-thru location and patients remain in their vehicles to be tested and/or vaccinated. A heated trailer and overhead canopy ensure that staff are not exposed to the weather for long periods of time. The operation is designed to limit exposure for both the patient and the medical provider collecting the swab for testing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting swabs for diagnostic testing of COVID-19 as well as administering both Flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting specimens from patients for diagnostic testing of COVID-19
- Administering COVID-19 vaccinations to patients
- Administering influenza vaccinations to patients
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Oversee entire patient experience, from check-in to check out
