Qualifications for team members:
- college degree in the subject matter or related subject matter
- experience tutoring- preferably elementary and above
- ability to teach reading phonetically to struggling readers
- reading, reading comprehension, spelling, creative writing
- patient and respectful of students and parents
- able to teach in creative manner to build from the very fundamentals
- make learning fun, yet effective
- must be on time and dependable - children need continuity !
- (also seeking math tutor , science tutor and computer tutors)
Job is part time and very flexible. Hours will build as you are matched with new incoming students.
Most students are looking for tutors M-F, between 3-7 PM, PST and Saturdays between 9 AM-12 PM, PST and Sundays 9AM-12PM or evenings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
