We are looking for the best personal trainers and registered dietitian nutritionists to join our team and change lives. We provide the easiest way to scale your impact and your business, leveraging technology to help you get more done and reach more clients while keeping you in the driver's seat for the client. We provide new clients through our marketplace while helping (and rewarding) you to recruit your own as well.
Currently, we accept applications from coaches located anywhere in the US & Canada except for California.
ABOUT KICKOFF
Kickoff is a tech-enabled personal training service whose mission is to make millions of people healthier while confronting the global obesity epidemic. We believe that clients need human support & accountability to change their behavior, so our coaches are at the core of our service. Our leading-edge technology is purpose-built to empower & enable the human coach, driving more dramatic and sustained results for clients and enabling coaches to scale their impact.
We further believe that results depend on holistic training across nutrition, sleep, wellness, and exercise, so we aid our coaches in providing all of the above, with partial automation to dramatically improve coach efficiency and impact.
ABOUT THE COACH ROLE
We are looking to bring on awesome coaches on a remote basis to meet fast-growing demand (which has only accelerated due to the current pandemic).
We help coaches acquire clients from their own network with a suite of marketing tools while also providing clients directly from our marketplace. We provide the tools to train clients remotely, efficiently, and effectively, and allow coaches to train as many clients as they want, via our mobile app when and where they want.
We thus provide a great way to monetize less busy hours and the opportunity to help many more people hit their goals and dreams, in the most convenient way possible.
This role is ideal for tech-oriented fitness experts who want to leverage their expertise to help build the future of fitness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Acquire clients from your network using our tools (note: we pay extra for these coach-acquired clients)
-Close and onboard clients that we provide from our marketplace
-Drive results, satisfaction, & retention for clients: Craft the ideal exercise & nutrition plan; motivate/enable clients to crush it with daily check-ins; iterate daily to get the plan just right at all times
-Troubleshoot challenging client situations and identify novel ways to engage folks who are intimidated by fitness or demotivated
REQUIREMENTS
-Degree in exercise science, current personal training/ strength & conditioning certification, or registered dietitian nutritionist credential
-Extremely high emotional intelligence: Able to motivate the most demotivated clients
-Expertise in the human body, training, nutrition, and fitness schedule programming
-Openness to a fast-paced, constantly changing and improving venture-backed startup environment
OUR COACH APPLICATION PROCESS
We only want to introduce our clients to the very best trainers. We believe that the best way to evaluate your fit with remote training is to actually observe how you do with real paying clients.
To get started, we help you recruit your own initial clients, pay you a higher bonus rate for them from day 1, and then evaluate how you do. Once we see that you're a fit as a coach, we'll make you Kickoff Certified and add you to our marketplace. From there on we'll send you clients from the marketplace while continuing to help you recruit others as well.
