Day CPM, a division of Otak, is hiring for a Remote Project Coordinator for our Portland location. Do you enjoy a rewarding work experience where you can thrive personally and professionally? This is a remote opportunity to support design management and construction administration with a variety of technical and administrative duties. You will provide a high level of customer service and overall leadership for client industry leading datacenter designs.

Day CPM serves as an independent advocate for the owner. Our all-inclusive work allows clients to focus on their own priorities, while we take care of the rest. Being familiar with everyone from engineers to manufacturers, we keep the project aligned, in-sync and running smoothly. As an additional set of eyes and ears between the design team and builders, we successfully manage our client's budget, scope, and time.

What you'll do:

  • Support design management, technical direction, decision-making and overall leadership for Client's industry-leading datacenter designs.
  • Support delivery of greenfield, brownfield and retrofit engineering / design projects through site due diligence, design, permitting and construction administration phases.
  • Engage with key Client internal stakeholder groups and external vendors—including architects, engineers, and designers—who specialize in datacenter architecture and engineering.
  • Work with Client internal and external resources to align building, power, cooling, telecom and controls infrastructure designs in alignment with datacenter capacity roadmap.
  • Collaborate on problem solving and solutions to enable Client's datacenters to incorporate new technology and operational processes / procedures.
  • Participate on multiple, concurrent, complete Datacenter design solutions in geographically diverse locations from a fully remote work environment.

What you'll bring

  • Associates Degree in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related areas; professional registration / certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a project or team manager.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment.

While Otak does not currently have a mandatory COVID vaccination policy, we do work with public agencies and private clients who do require all contractors and subcontractors be vaccinated.
