ROLE SUMMARY Serves as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the recruiting process. With this knowledge, provides training, guidance and support to hiring managers and human resources staff at all locations. This position requires exceptional organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills. This position also requires excellent customer satisfaction skills through interactions with applicants, vendors, and internal partners at all levels of the organization. Maintaining confidentiality is a key attribute of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Talent Acquisition Assistant will include, but are not limited to:
  • Schedules and coordinates interview activities relating to Pella Corporation's recruiting efforts.
  • Facilitates onboarding tasks including but not limited to; background checks, relocation, drug screens, benefit correspondence, and internal transfers.
  • Assist in various communications throughout the hiring and onboarding process including employee announcements, job postings, and managing the Pella recruiting inbox.
  • Create and manage postings for internal and external roles as needed.
  • Greet and host candidates when they are on site at Pella Corporation.
  • Become a subject matter expert on all processes within Pella's recruiting efforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION for the Talent Acquisition Assistant include:
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and/or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems or processes when needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
