Completion of 60 semester credits to include 15 semester credits in Computer Science, Cartography, Geography or related field. Additional related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

This position is within the Geospatial Technology Division of the Information Technology Department (ITD). This position performs technical computer programming, systems analysis, operating systems programming work. This position is responsible for performing a myriad of functions in various platform environments, to include documenting or performing work for new or existing information systems, assisting with the maintenance and modification of existing applications, assisting with diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware problems, defining users and security levels, performing data editing and quality control checks. Incumbents will be working under the close supervision of an information technology professional.
