The Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to CFO, this position will lead all aspects of business planning and analysis. This role will be collaborative to all departments in the company to develop and manage the budget and forecasts as well as provide business analysis to support their long-term strategic plan.
Key Duties
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning that are consistent with both short-term and long-term corporate objectives
- Lead the transition of the company from quarterly to monthly rolling forecasts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly budget and forecast to actual variance analysis
- Create robust internal reporting to provide necessary information to various departments and senior management as required
- Manage strategic planning process and development of corporate and department level goals and key performance indicators
- Partner with the broader organization to drive process and systematic improvements across the company
- Collaborate cross functionally to derive proper accruals for month end close
- Represent the finance function on all new product development teams, assisting with COGS estimates, forecasting and other finance related activities
- Assist with special projects as needed, providing financial assessments and guidance for strategic projects and business cases.
- Work with the CFO to maintain current materials for confidential data room

- Requires a B.S./M.S. in Accounting or Finance required, MBA and/or CPA (strongly preferred)
- Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of financial analysis for a life sciences company preferably with commercial experience
- Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and expertise of international, multi-currency planning is highly desirable.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills (English language).
- Absent pandemic-related restrictions, willingness & ability to travel within United States and internationally (UK & EU), as necessary to meet business objectives.
- Someone who values and demonstrates our core tenets of speed, transparency, accountability, trust, and fun.
- Experience using BPM/CPM/EPM software preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel
