We are seeking a Cabinet Shop Foreman to assist in the start up and operation of this new venture. Our sister company is a well-established property management company which owns 2,900 units. The position has good job security with long-term plans to produce around 10 kitchen cabinet projects per month. The shop has all new equipment and will be utilized to meet our needs as we remodel current units with European-style cabinets. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in computer cabinet design (Cabinet Vision), CNC operation (ShopSabre Pro408) and other operations to create and build the cabinets. This position is responsible for material purchasing and the billing of those materials. The position will supervise one or two employees.
Requirements
- Two years of cabinet making experience.
- Ability to read and interpret plan and drawings.
- Knowledge of and ability to use software driven cabinet design.
- Meet necessary production timelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Properly care for and safely operate shop equipment.
- Follow safety protocols for equipment and PPE.
- Perform the essential physical duties consistent with cabinet making.
