PentaVision LLC is the leading publishing and media company in the vision care industry. The company is a virtual workplace environment, with a main office in Doylestown, PA. Candidates within two hours of the main office are preferred.
The Associate Editor will provide support for the Eyecare Business magazine editorial team with writing, editing, proofreading, fact-checking, market coverage, and social media and website posting for our B2B magazine and related website, social media channels, and other e-media and print platforms.
Reporting to EB's Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor, this position also involves crafting high-quality, engaging content for each issue. Solid writing and editing skills a must. The ability to multitask plus strong organizational skills and an efficient, positive work ethic also desired.
Magazine experience a major plus. Knowledge of the vision care, eyewear, retail and merchandising strategies also a plus.
This position also includes assisting with the expansion of existing social media platforms and livestreaming initiatives, the development of new platforms, and organizing content for our publication's website and regular email newsletters. Prior experience with a successful social media, email newsletters, and website programs is desirable.
The successful candidate will have a passion for editorial excellence and a strong desire to cover an exciting, ever-changing market for our award-winning, highly acclaimed magazine, which have a 35+-year legacy of serving eyecare professionals with high-quality content, strategies, and solutions. A minimum of two years of business-to-business or consumer print magazine and/or online journalism in an editorial position is requested.
