We are looking for a CAE engineer who specializes in multi-body simulation (MBS) to conduct analysis for vehicle dynamics (steering, ride, handling) as well as for load collective generation. Job Functions
- Conduct multibody simulation (MBS) analysis to support the development of all current and future DTNA products
- Utilize MBS software Simpack to generate load collectives for subsequent structural durability analysis: Assemble full vehicle detailed MBS models, run simulations on digitalized test track profiles, provide system level interface loads in support of system level structural FEA.
- Utilize MBS software Simpack for vehicle dynamics simulations: Assemble full vehicle detailed MBS models, execute steering/handling analysis, document results and provide solutions to design and testing related to vehicle dynamics and system/component performance.
- Support the furthering of virtual development capability by creating new CAE load cases consistent with objective tests and subjective evaluations.
- Support transition from on-road based development to lab and CAE environments through collaboration with physical test counterparts
- Continually improve fidelity of vehicle models
- Manage multiple assignments concurrently, and prioritize them in a manner consistent with business goals.
- Successfully implement projects on time and within budget keeping management informed of project issues, delays and risks.
