Zendesk is excited to hire a highly motivated and organized Executive Assistant to support our executives across Finance, Sales, and Operations, with direct support for 4 executives. The ideal candidate is focused and willing to actively work behind the scenes to ensure that our leaders and their teams are functioning smoothly and efficiently. You must have a demonstrable track record of success in supporting teams in a dynamic work environment! You are upbeat, with a fun-loving, empathic demeanor, yet you are an accomplished professional with the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and tact with an acute sense of urgency and proficiency. It's important to handle sensitive and confidential matters with unwavering integrity and ethics at all times. Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are a must. This role is non-exempt.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively maintain calendars and daily schedules, fielding and prioritizing requests

  • Handle all travel and expenses for your assigned executives in a proactive, fiscally alert manner

  • Ensure and maintain the confidentiality of all appropriate communications and document

  • Maintain a positive and effective working relationship with all members of the Zendesk team

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a tech/SaaS environment preferred

  • 2 - 4 years of related work experience (general office administration, or reception) and general knowledge within their functional area

  • Proven record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions

  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, and an ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment

  • Demonstrates an ability to anticipate needs and changes, then react with the best interest of the business and/or executive in mind

  • Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense

  • Experience in heavy calendar management. Understanding priorities and how to prioritize key meetings and events

  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and to constantly re-prioritize

  • Outstanding work ethic and a "can-do" attitude for all situations – no task too big or too small to handle

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills and strong sense of professionalism

  • Highly proficient with all Google Suite applications
