Schedule is M-F, 9am-5:30pmPT with occasional weekends as needed.
Pay is $125,000 (70% base plus 30% variable comp).
In this role as an F&I Trainer, you will play a critical role in the long-term success of Shift's F&I through facilitating and contributing to the Training and Development initiative. The focus of this role will be in building Shift's F&I training program and delivery of both new hire training and continued education.
What you'll do/Duties (Essential Functions):
The employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Effectively collaborate with the F&I Managers
- Facilitate training sessions, ensuring that there is high engagement with the individuals attending and that the information presented is retained
- Plan the logistics for each session, ensuring there are no delays or interruptions with the training
- Review feedback collected following each training session to address opportunities and improve sessions moving forward
- Work with department stakeholders to align with their training goals, and ensure that trainings are facilitated to their needs and standards
- Identify and propose areas of opportunity for all reps after they have began their individual role
- Work with department stakeholders to develop Sales Training programs that will lead to career advancement opportunities for Shift's sales reps.
- Perform regular call reviews

- Proven experience delivering highly engaging, high-impact training for sales reps of various skill and experience levels.
- Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms
- Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g. videos or slides)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people
- Strong track record of meeting sales targets so that one is considered a subject matter expert
- Experience training F&I
