Commercial Interior Designer | Project Manager
Palmetto Interiors is looking for a full-time Junior and Senior Interior designer to join our team! Our projects focus on Multi-Family housing including apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities. We strive to design beautiful interiors uniquely suited for each target market. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is highly creative and always looking for new trends. This person should possess strong interpersonal skills such as written and verbal communication, problem-solving abilities, and a desire to work with others in a team environment. Must be extremely well organized, and very detail-oriented.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Interior Design related field (Senior)
- Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, preferably from an accredited institution
- AutoCAD knowledge is required and Revit is a plus, as well as the Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign) Microsoft Word/Excel
- Must be able to create construction drawings
- Ability to convey design concepts to the client graphically through digital boards
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with client budgets
- Must be able to collaborate in a team environment and be comfortable working solo
- Work as needed to meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel
- Most of all must be CREATIVE with a strong work ethic, positive attituded, and a team player!!
Responsibilities - include but are not limited to the following:
- Conceptual designs
- Space planning
- Selection of all interior finishes as well as FF&E
- Produce construction documents and specification sheets
- Oversee projects from concept to completion
- Deliver furniture and accessories to job sites (must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.)
- Maintain the resource library and general upkeep of the office

Compensation:
- Pay based upon experience and ability

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
