Job Description
DAY SHIFT - NEW STARTING WAGE!!! $15.50
Schedule is 5am - 1:30pm Monday through Friday with flexibility of working Saturdays
5am - 3:30pm when Overtime is required.
OR
NIGHT SHIFT - NEW STARTING WAGE $17. 05
Choose from Sun, Mon, Tues 4PM - 4:30AM OR Wed, Thurs, Fri 4PM - 4:30AM
- Edging – Scan barcode, block lens in edger and push start.
- Insert Lens into Frames – Remove screw, insert lens, replace screw. Heat frame to expand and insert lens.
- Inspection – Check lens for defects, pits, scratches. Check for correct power, axis, prism, etc.
- Hand Bevel – Edge lens down by hand to reduce size. Take out chips and roll edges.Roll edges on bevel wheel to eliminate sharpness.
- Sort Trays – Sort trays for appropriate areas at handstone, edging, beveling, tinting and mount.
- Tint – Place lens in lens holder and tint to specified color
Qualifications
- Requires some walking, standing and moving about or continuous sitting depending on the production station.
- Continuous movement and twisting of wrist.
- Occasionally lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighting 0-10 lbs.
- Frequent repetitive use of hands is required, which includes grasping and fine manipulation.
- Dependable to work schedule required. Good attendance history.
