Job Title: Controller

Job Overview: The Controller will report directly to the CEO and CFO of the company and serve as a key resource in measuring the company's performance, defining its goals, and providing strategic guidance to management. The finance function of the company is young and small, so the controller will need to be comfortable with ambiguity and able to work independently. Compensation will be competitive, performance-based, and commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ready for review by management and investors
- Lead efforts to optimize and potentially implement new ERP systems for inventory management, reporting, billing, etc.
- Define, measure, and report KPIs
- Maintain a financial model to create budgets, resource plans, and liquidity projections
- Assist in evaluation and integration of acquisition targets
- Evaluate and monitor accounting controls
- Help manage communications with investors, lenders, outside accounting firms, etc.
- Collaborate with CEO and other management members on various strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of work experience, preferably at a physical products startup (i.e., not software)
- Ability to work in a lean, growth-oriented environment with little direct supervision. Must be willing to take initiative and ownership
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, and financial modeling
- ERP systems savvy with ability to learn quickly and independently

After 1 year employment we offer 40 hours vacation time. After 3 years, 80 hours of vacation time. After 5 Years, 120 hours vacation time.
